What will a divorce cost?

I try to keep my fees to a flat, predictable fee.  If you have a non-contested divorce, meaning you and your spouse have agreed on the general division of property and child custody, I can work on a flat-fee.  If the matter is contested, I will charge you at my modified flat-fee system. In this system, I don’t charge hourly, but I do charge for each “event.” Events in a divorce case include filing certain pleadings, and court appearances, among other things. This helps keep the fees predictable.
